Nyki was born on March 13, 1982 in New Braunfels, TX. She grew up in nearby San Marcos and graduated from San Marcos High School in 2000. She went on to earn a BS from Texas State University at San Marcos in Biology with a minor in Exercise and Sports Science.
Throughout her childhood and adult life Nyki has remained involved in sports and various athletic endeavors. Her main sports of interest include soccer, basketball, rugby and track while she also competed in volleyball and softball. Most recently, she has added endurance sports such as cycling and running. In October 2008 she completed the MS 150 mile bike ride from San Antonio to Corpus Christie. This experience spawned a fire in Nyki to continue her involvement in the sport and set sights on triathlons and marathons as well.
An undying passion for health and fitness led Nyki to resign from the corporate world and search out David King as a solid and successful mentor in the field of personal training. She continually seeks out knowledge and experience not only in the challenges of fitness but in life as well. She aspires to contribute and serve her community, and beyond, towards better health, fitness and life enjoyment.
“I wholeheartedly believe in crossfit training and invite anyone, of any fitness level, to take that first step, join me and together we will work through the process to achieve a better standard of health, fitness and quality of life.”
